Macrobiota is a paradigmatic extrapolation of Microbiota. A Microbiome is the aggregate of all its microbiota.
All biological objects & subjects (from biologic molecules to microbes, to animals & human beings... and from human beings to communities, up to planetary systems) interact with each other.
Interactions do not simply happen within an ecosystem: ecosystems interact with each other... in every dimension of the universe!
