2013 "Art in Florence": Exhibition at Galleria360, February 2013: Angela and Riccardo, visionary managers/architect with an international network of artists. Curator Dtt. Roberta Mottola. [6]
December 2011 “On-the-Edge” at Galleria de Marci, Bologna Italy: With the impulse of Paola Trevisan [4], BT directed his creativity towards miniature paintings (8”x8”), for “On-the-edge”, an exciting exhibition:
A “political series”, building dual faces and mixing paint with photo-collage, triggered many reactions: “The artistic expressions are even more varied: from the explicitly naïf suggestions to ... Bernard Teiling’s surprising proposal, whose mixed technique and collage create an assembly of faces of some contemporary politicians, e.g. Obama-Qaddafi, Merkel-Sarkozy, in an ironic playoff match” wrote Anita Puyol [5] in an article “Re-inventing Babel’s Tower”.
March 2011: An updated view of the art market, with Artexpo New York [3]: BT solo exhibition, in the middle of hundreds of artists and galleries, learned about the impact of digital imaging, social networking, crisis management... and the trends of art in the 21st century.
March 2010: Exhibition at Auvers-sur-Oise, "the town of Van Gogh", invited by Spiridon, artist and poet.
“A painting is a story to myself: I enjoy every step from ideation, brain-storm design, to execution, fighting with the chemistry of oil, pigments and other ingredients, struggling with white canvases, sometimes winning, sometimes losing.”
“I wish I can engage the observer, intellectually, psychologically, and emotionally, to experience alternative realities, confront ambiguities, and deal with his/her own imagination.”
